Hachiko, or Hachi, is a small Japanese Akita pup, with brown and white fur. With a tail curled inwards, and currently floppy ears that will grow strong enough to perk up, as well as black, beady eyes, Hachi has been described multiple times as 'cute' or 'adorable' by most people. The only accessories that he has is the white collar around his neck and the red leash that would usually be hooked on it whenever Hachi and Sakuro would go out for walks.

- Personality!-
Hachiko is a pup with a loyal, protective, and quiet personality towards those who he is not accustomed to. Towards those who he has warmed up to, he has a hyperactive, friendly, and warm personality, almost exactly like his master. Hachiko is also probably the only person who could easily read and correctly guess what Sakura is thinking every single time, and likes what she likes, and dislikes what she dislikes. He is overprotective of her, and would bark nonstop at someone who he deems 'dangerous', and might even go so far as to bite them. He tends to be a very quiet puppy in front of strangers, and would not do much, however, he would immediately become a hyperactive one if he was alone with Sakura or with others whom he had warmed up to. While no one would be able to take the place of Sakura, he would be a friendly one towards those he likes. However, it would take quite a while for a stranger to get into his good books, unless Sakura is friendly towards said person. He is also easily aggravated by cats because he has a certain dislike for them that Sakura cannot comprehend.

Sakura had found Hachiko as a stray pup, abandoned during one fateful, spring morning. She had been out for a walk in the park, admiring the cherry blossom trees, when she heard a whine from underneath a pile of cherry blossom petals. With the girl's interest piqued, she approached the pile and removed several petals, revealing the little pup, shivering in the cold and starved. However, when she reached out to him, the little pup had gotten on the defensive, barked, and growled, not allowing her to come near. This went on for a while, until Sakura had to leave to get a bowl of milk, a loaf of bread, and a blanket to keep the pup warm. Though the pup did drink, eat, and warmed under the blanket, he had still refused to warm up to Sakura, even if she had stayed until nightfall, which was when she was forced to go back home. However, the next morning, she came back with another bowl of milk and a loaf of bread. This went on for several days, with each day ending with Sakura walking back home alone, although the pup's hostility gradually decreased each day. It ended, however, until one night, at a time when Sakura had to leave, and she did try to do so. However, when she had stood up and walked away, the pup had loyally trailed behind her, and barked to get her attention. When she realized that the pup had followed, she smiled, and at that point, they became inseparable best friends. Since then, they had never been seen without each other by their side.

Honda Sakura is a petite, young-looking, woman. With a fair complexion and a bit-shorter-than-average height (exactly at 156 centimeters), her appearance makes her look as if she was a doll. It might be thought that her dark brown eyes would only add in to her petite features, however, her stern gaze would make others think otherwise. Her serious frown further emphasizes her no-nonsense attitude, and it is her daily expression, always on her face. Her short, dark brown hair is adorned with a single, cherry blossom flower on her left ear, which she would constantly play with as a habit.

[It's been so long since I've RPed, and I want to get back into it, so yeah.]
Sakura walked up the steps of the temple as she held the leash for Hachiko, who followed closely behind her every step. Her kimono was a bit uncomfortable to wear at this point in time, and she was still quite cold even if she wore the slightly thick garments, but she was determined to pray up at the temple no matter what. It was definitely a one-of-a-kind celebration, after all, and Sakura was one to stick to traditions.
